How We Work

Advice on Buying Flooring

As a family business, our passion for quality and customer service earns us many personal recommendations.  We always love to receive such positive feedback and have grown a large part of our business from referrals. When it comes to the important items in your home, such as carpets, you may not know where to start.  For this reason, we’d like to office you some advice on buying flooring.

Have a think about the following:

Where will the carpet (or flooring) be fitted?

OK, yes.  On the floor, we know that…

What works in your lounge or bedroom may not always be suitable for other spaces in your home.  Ask us for advice.

What are your colour schemes?

Everything starts with the flooring.  It sets the “mood” for each room. Lighter tones can make small rooms feel larger, for example; “warm” golden shades bring a homely, cosy feel to your home.

Who lives with you?

Sorry to be personal. Carpets can experience heavy family foot fall, so we can help you choose something that looks great and keeps its durability. With small children at home, for example, you may wish to consider a stain-resistant option.

Underlay?

An essential.  Good quality underlay makes a difference to carpets so we only install Elegance underlay.  It’s one of the best on the market, enhances the feel of your carpet and adds to its longevity.  Therefore, we never compromise on this, as we know how important a good balance between value and quality is to you.
